Bean Family Wellness offers a variety of Prenatal Classes to meet your family’s needs.
This group prenatal class is comprehensive and is designed to prepare and empower you for birth and your postpartum experience.
Group classes allow you to learn amongst other expectant parents in an interactive learning environment, including a variety of group activities and couples. Couples will have a chance to practice several types of coping and comfort measures in class, including some 1:1 instruction from your instructor.
Recommended between 27-32 weeks
This Private Prenatal Class covers the same content as the group prenatal class and is designed to prepare and empower you for birth and your postpartum experience in a 1:1 class.
Private classes cover the same information as the group class, but give you the benefit of 1:1 instruction, with the opportunity to custom the class to your family’s unique situation or hopes for your birth. You and your partner will have an opportunity to practice comfort measures in class.
Specialty class options are available including for C-sections, Multiples (Twins, Triplets, …) and Single Moms.
Recommended between 27-32 weeks
A Refresher Prenatal Class is designed to prepare and empower you for birth and your postpartum experience when you’ve already taken a prenatal class during a prior pregnancy.
Refresher classes require that you have taken a prenatal class in the past for a previous pregnancy. Refresher classes are great for subsequent pregnancies to help prepare you for birth again and to prepare you for the changes to come in your family (adapting to life with more than one baby, help for siblings, etc.).
