Winnipeg BLS CPR AED Certification Training Class

Bean Family Wellness offers Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider CPR Training through the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Ensure you are prepared in case of emergency - whether you need it for work, school, or want to ensure you’d be able to help your family and/or friends iif you needed to. BLS Provider CPR Classes cover CPR training for Infants, CPR Training for Children, and CPR Training for Adults, including AED use, plus choking emergencies.

BLS Provider Course Content Includes,

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • The Chain of Survival

  • Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) with considerations for adults, children and infants

  • Ventilations using a barrier device and bag-valve-mask

  • Multi-rescuer resuscitation, including Team Dynamics

  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults, children, and infants

  • Other special considerations

BLS Provider CPR Training Dates

Full Length Class Fee: $70 + GST**
Class Length: 4 hours

Notes: Fee does NOT include cost of manual, but handouts will be provided during class that you can take home. A link will be provided prior to class if you choose to puchase a physical or eBook copy of the manual. Classes require a minimum of 4 participants. We reserve the right to reschedule in the case of low enrolment.

The Heart & Stroke Foundation Requires Yearly BLS Provider renewal. If your expiry date has passed and you have not taken a Heart & Stroke BLS Provider course in the last 12 months, please scroll up and register for a Full BLS Provider CPR & AED course.

Renewal Class Fee: $50 + GST
(does NOT include cost of manual, if needed)

Class Length: 2.25 hours

Note: Please note classes require a minimum of 4 participants. We reserve the right to reschedule with less participants.

Manual Information:

  • A BLS Provider manual is recommended for this class. The BLS Provider Course Manual NOT included in the course fee. You can either bring a copy with you / borrow from a friend, purchase the manual online, or you can choose to purchase a copy of the book or eBook online through the Gilmore Heart & Stroke Heart Shop. Occasionally Bean Family Wellness has extra copies in stock for purchase.

  • For renewal classes, you are expected to provide your own manual or you can purchase a manual separately through Bean Family Wellness or online. To maintain your certification, renewal classes are required yearly.  A passing grade on your exam at the end of class is required for new or renewal certifications.
